South Fayette Township and other communities are being advised to boil their water prior to consumption due to cloudiness in the water that may cause illness, Pennsylvania American Water said.
The boil water advisory is now lifted in South Fayette Township and other communities, Pennsylvania American Water announced. Customers no longer have to boil their water before use. Acceptable test results were obtained from samples collected on November 6 and 7, and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has authorized lifting the advisory.
