How do I recycle cardboard boxes?
Cardboard boxes must be flattened and placed inside a curbside recycling bin with the lid closed in order to be collected by Waste Management’s automated recycling trucks. Cardboard placed outside the recycling bin will not be picked up. You also may dispose of flattened cardboard in your regular trash. If you are moving and would like to recycle a large amount of boxes, please call the township office for assistance at 412-221-8700.
