Glass Recycling

Glass is not accepted in curbside recycling carts, but residents have opportunities to recycle household glass at various collection sites and events.

Traveling Glass Recycling Bin

Recycle glass bottles, jugs and jars at a glass recycling bin that moves around to various towns, including South Fayette Township, throughout the year, thanks to partnerships among the Pennsylvania Resources Council, local municipalities and sponsors.

The regional schedule is posted on the PRC website. Also, find South Fayette and local collections on our website calendar.

The free drop-off recycling bin accepts all colors of glass bottles, jugs and jars:

  • Glass bottles, jugs and jars only are accepted
