[ARCHIVED] Library seeking applicants for part-time web and social media specialist

The South Fayette Township Library and Bridgeville Public Library are seeking a creative, enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to grow the libraries’ social media presence and engage with both existing and new audiences.

The role of Marketing and Digital Engagement Specialist is vital, as you will manage the social media presence of both libraries, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, as well as the libraries’ websites. You will have the opportunity to craft unique content designed to promote library initiatives and engage users in the libraries’ shared mission. This position is ideally suited for someone with a wide array of interests, as you will have the opportunity to work with patrons, staff and stakeholders of all ages and backgrounds.

The position is part-time, 15 hours per week, with flexible scheduling (occasional evenings and Saturdays as needed) serving both the South Fayette Township Library and Bridgeville Public Library. The libraries are located approximately 15 miles southwest of Pittsburgh, and are two miles apart, serving South Fayette, Bridgeville and surrounding communities, including the South Fayette School District and Chartiers Valley School District.
