211 Get Connected Get Help

UPDATE (3:45 p.m. Feb. 4): All of the appointments have been filled, and 2-1-1 is unable to accept more scheduling calls until further notice. The hotline accepts general questions 24/7.

ORIGINAL POST:

Starting at noon Feb. 4, 2021, adults age 65 and older may call 2-1-1 for COVID-19 vaccine scheduling and information, thanks to a partnership between Allegheny County Health Department and United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania.

The telephone service is for older adults who don't use the Internet or who are having trouble navigating the registration website.

An extremely limited number of appointments will be available only for a vaccination site at the DoubleTree Hotel in Monroeville.

About 750 slots for the next two weeks are expected to fill quickly. When all appointments have been filled, the public will be notified, and phone scheduling will end.

However, the 2-1-1 hotline will remain open 24/7 for questions.
