The detour route for the Boyce Road closure (see graphic) is listed under the heading "Road Closure 2."
Road Closure 1 - Mayview Road, West Side (Cecil Side)
Road Closure 2 - Boyce Road, West Side (Washington Pike Side)
Road Closures 3 and 4 - Boyce Road, East Side (Route 19 Side) and Mayview Road, East Side (Hastings Side)
Single-Lane Alternating Traffic - Throughout Intersection Area
Timelines depend on weather and utility line relocations, which must be completed in conjunction with the intersection project.
About the Boyce-Mayview Project
The project had been delayed due to funding shortages related to the coronavirus pandemic; however, following a government relief package, PennDOT was able to continue the work.
South Fayette Township is not involved in this work and is providing this notice as a courtesy.
