[ARCHIVED] Boyce-Mayview road work set for March 1 to November 8

Boyce-Mayview Intersection Road Work Update with image of roadway

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 11 resumed major road work at the intersection of Mayview Road and Boyce Road in South Fayette Township on March 1, 2022. Work will include replacing a culvert, adding turn lanes and making design improvements.

The landslide area on Mayview Road near Hastings was opened before the Boyce-Mayview closures begin.

Closures and detours will occur until work is completed around November 8, 2022. There are two alternating closure combinations.

Local traffic will be able to access homes and businesses in the closure areas using the detour routes; however, local access through the Boyce-Mayview intersection will not be allowed.

Initially, Pennsylvania American Water will complete water line work, including installation of a 36-inch line underneath Boyce Road.
