Free glass recycling is set for Sat. May 13 through Thurs. May 18, 2023, daily from 7 AM to 8 PM, behind the South Fayette Township municipal building / police station / library at 515 Millers Run Road, South Fayette PA 15064.
Drop off glass bottles, jugs and jars in the large blue bin behind the township building.
- Household glass bottles, jugs and jars only
- All colors of glass are OK
- Caps, lids and labels are OK
- Empty all containers
- No bags or boxes in the recycling bin
- Prohibited items include cut glass, glass bakeware, mirrors, stemware / wine glasses, drinking glasses, light bulbs, TVs, window glass and all other materials besides household glass bottles, jugs and jars
Location is under video surveillance.
This glass recycling bin moves around to various towns, including South Fayette Township, throughout the year, thanks to partnerships among the Pennsylvania Resources Council, local municipalities and sponsors.
