rail trail.
Motorized vehicles are prohibited.
About 2 miles of the
Panhandle Trail are located in South
Fayette Township, from about mile 4.5 to mile 6.5. The stretch lies
between Oakdale and McDonald.
South Fayette's Scotch Hill Road crossing,
off Noblestown Road & Mill Street, has a parking lot, water
fountain and bench.
The Sturgeon station includes parking, permanent restrooms, a bulletin
board, and a picnic shelter, with local private amenities such as
Hunner's
Restaurant.
