"Love Letters–Music and Letters of Wartime” is a musical concert featuring wartime correspondence exchanged by military veterans and their loved ones. It includes letters and music from major military conflicts beginning with the War of Independence through today, accompanied by a multimedia video presentation. The program explores the heartfelt observations and emotions of these very personal letters, highlighted by a backdrop of meaningful music and pictures. It features letters from and to sons, mothers, daughters, dads, and sweethearts…some amusing, some hopeful, some uplifting, and all a testament to the humanity and dedication of our military veterans and their loved ones, whose service and sacrifice must not be forgotten. "Love Letters" was developed in collaboration with NY Times Bestselling Author Andrew Carroll (‘War Letters” and “Behind the Lines”), Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall and Museum in Pittsburgh PA, and donations from veterans' personal, unpublished collections.
