    Created by Ohio Health, Delay the Disease© is a life-changing fitness, mobility and wellness program expressly designed for individuals with Parkinson’s disease or related symptoms to optimize function and restore independence. The national program offers benefits for everyone. Modifications are offered for all ability levels so everyone can participate. Delay the Disease is a very inclusive program that shares exercises for focal development, gait, brain work, dexterity, fine motor, flexibility, strength training and more. Participants have experienced improved mobility, posture, balance, handwriting, speech volume and a reduction in daily functional challenges. The twice-weekly classes are all about fun and joy.

  1. Mommy and Me Yoga

    Learn the basics of yoga, guided meditation and mindfulness in this high-energy class that is sure to be a hit with your preschooler. Taught in the style of "Kidding Around Yoga," this 45-minute class features original music to tap into children’s natural need to be active, while building confidence and promoting self regulation. You and your child can expect a fun, fast-paced class with plenty of songs and games. Each class will wind down with a guided meditation that will take you away to a “secret garden.” Please bring a yoga mat and water.

  2. Summer Playground Camp - Week 1

    Summer Playground Camp is offered 5 days a week for 8 weeks (two weeks longer than prior years) by South Fayette Township Parks & Recreation. Children ages 5 to 12 are encouraged to play outdoors, exploring our playgrounds and parks while interacting with other youth under the supervision of camp counselors. Scheduling is flexible, so parents can choose the days and times that work best. Schedule: Week 1: June 17 - 21 @ Fairview Park Week 2: June 24 - 28 @ Morgan Park Week 3: July 1 - July 5 (no 4th) @ Boys Home Park Week 4: July 8 - July 12 @ Fairview Park Week 5: July 15 - July 19 @ Morgan Park Week 6: July 22 - July 26 @ Fairview Park Week 7: July 29 – Aug. 2 @ Morgan Park Week 8: Aug. 5 – Aug. 9 @ Fairview Park *Campers in all-day sessions must bring lunch **FAMILY DISCOUNT 10% when registering 2 or more children in the same household.     The JumpBunch Superhero Training Camp for children ages 3 to 5 is all about training to be your favorite superhero! Being a superhero means having strength, agility, balance and speed. We focus on learning special superhero training skills through fun games and activities. Being a superhero also means having compassion for society, a kind heart and a willingness to do good and help others, and these are qualities discussed with campers. Kids are encouraged to be superheroes in everyday life! A Lego segment and crafts are included. Please bring a snack and water.
