Registrants (adults and children welcome) run or walk their race distance at any location they choose (treadmill, neighborhood, local park) between Sat. September 26 and Fri. October 2. If you are participating in the 5K and would like to be listed in the results, make sure you track your time and distance. You can do so with a watch or running app. Make sure you run the whole distance (3.1 Miles for a 5K); you don't want to do all that work and come up short. You will then be able to report your time online or via text. Results will be automatically updated as race times come in. You also will be able to share your photos on social media by using the following hashtag: #FairviewFall5K.

Kindermusik for the Young Child offers kindergartners (ages 5 to 6 years) exciting first experiences with musical symbols and more complex instruments, laying the groundwork for more formal music instruction. Your children thrive as they sing, move, play instruments and create music with other children in a socially distant, safe space outdoors. Parents celebrate as their children begin to master musical concepts while building a strong foundation for learning in other subjects like math, reading and writing.
Enrollment includes 16 classes over 8 weeks, a personal instrument kit for class ensembles, and class materials (binder, activity pages, home activity cards, games bag, glockenspiel and case). Class size is limited to 8.
Social distancing required.
Health check before class.
Children have all of their own materials and a personal instrument kit as part of registration. There is no sharing of materials.
