Recreation Calendar

  1. Fairview Fall Virtual 5K presented by Dollar Bank

    September 26, 2020, 8:00 AM - October 2, 2020, 8:00 PM @ Anywhere!

Registrants (adults and children welcome) run or walk their race distance at any location they choose (treadmill, neighborhood, local park) between Sat. September 26 and Fri. October 2. If you are participating in the 5K and would like to be listed in the results, make sure you track your time and distance. You can do so with a watch or running app. Make sure you run the whole distance (3.1 Miles for a 5K); you don't want to do all that work and come up short. You will then be able to report your time online or via text. Results will be automatically updated as race times come in. You also will be able to share your photos on social media by using the following hashtag: #FairviewFall5K. Race proceeds benefit the nonprofit South Fayette Community Fund to help build a new, ADA-accessible playground in Fairview Park in South Fayette Township! Registration open through Sept. 24, 2020.
