South Fayette is seeking a resident to volunteer on the newly formed Fire Services Advisory Committee.
The group will make recommendations about the future of fire service in the community's four fire departments--Fairview, Oak Ridge, South Fayette and Sturgeon.
This position is an unpaid, appointed position serving the township government.
The committee is responsible for providing guidance on all facets of fire department needs, including, but not limited to, the following:
- Operational policies and procedures
- Recruitment and retention procedures
- Financial policy and operations
- Long-term goals and objectives
