A free collection of TVs and electronics will be held Sat. July 29 from 10 AM to 2 PM at Boys Home Park in South Fayette Township.
For GPS directions, use 2121 Ridge Road, South Fayette PA 15071. All traffic must enter from Boys Home/Ridge Road and exit via Rutherglen Drive.
Recycling company personnel will collect the items from you. All items are free of cost, except items containing refrigerant/Freon are $25 each.
Accepted items include most equipment and appliances with a cord:
- Televisions (all types and sizes)
- Computers and laptops
- Monitors (LCD and CRT)
- Computer mice, keyboards, speakers, cords, wires
- Printers, copiers, fax machines and scanners
- Gaming consoles and systems
- Telephones and radios
- Microwaves
Prohibited items include:
- Smoke detectors
- Loose batteries
- Medical equipment and medical waste
- Curling irons, shavers and personal hygiene items
- Paper
- Loose software
- VCR tapes / Discs
- Pianos and organs
- Vacuums and carpet cleaners
- General rubbish
