[ARCHIVED] Community forum March 19 to address student safety issues

Students in grades 6-12 and their families are encouraged to attend a Community Forum and Information Night from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on March 19, 2015 in the South Fayette Middle School Auditorium, 3700 Old Oakdale Road.

The event, hosted by the South Fayette Township Police Department and South Fayette Township School District, will address these safety topics:

• Online Behavior and Safety
• School Safety and Emergency Preparedness
• Underage Drinking – Prevention and Response

Presenters from the township, school district and community include:

• Police Chief John Phoennik
• School Resource Officer Jeff Sgro
• The Honorable Maureen McGraw-Desmet
• Dr. Bille Rondinelli, Superintendent of Schools
• Mr. Aaron Skrbin, Associate High School Principal and Director of School Safety
• Mrs. Jody Soberhart, Allegheny County Domestic Outreach
• Mr. Dennis Valentine, Southbridge EMS
