A bridge in South Fayette will close next to the Panhandle Trail on Scotch Hill Road / Mill Street, between Willow Street in North Fayette and Marshall Road in South Fayette, according to Allegheny County Public Works.
The closure starts at 9 a.m. Tues. June 28, 2022, and is expected to end in December 2022.
The closure is required for replacement of Robinson Run South Branch Bridge No. 3, including new pavement, guide rail, pavement markings and signage.
Traffic will be detoured using Mill Street, Noblestown Road, Union Avenue and Marshall Road.
Access to the Panhandle Trail will be maintained at all times.
The $992,564 project will be done by Mele & Mele & Sons., Inc., of Braddock.
