[ARCHIVED] South Fayette Community Day set for Sat. Aug. 27

After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, South Fayette Community Day, presented by Dollar Bank, returns Sat. Aug. 27, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Fairview Park, 129 Greenwood Drive, South Fayette 15017.

The event includes free admission, free activities and free entertainment.

The last event—the fourth annual—was held in August 2019.

“South Fayette Community Day is our biggest annual event, and we’re excited to bring everyone together again,” said Paula Willis, the parks and recreation director for South Fayette Township.

Food and drink concessions will be available, with beer sales, by Recon Brewing of South Fayette, available to adults ages 21 and over.

An ATM will be available on site.

Dogs are not permitted in the park on event day.

Accessible parking is available. General parking is limited inside Fairview Park. Golf cart shuttles are available to transport passengers from the parking lots to the event area.


Shuttle bus transportation is available at the following locations, with the first pickup at 10:30 a.m.:
